This is the last post to this blog. For a variety of reasons, I have lost interest in posting/blogging. So for the 5-6 loyal worldwide readers, I bid you goodbye. After April 1, Godthoughts will cease….and no, that’s not an early April Fools joke.
Goodbye!

I feel your pain. My blog too has become dormant. I guess ordinary folks like you and me only have so much to say.
BTW, where are you guys now?

That is depressing. When someone like you has no more to post, it makes me question myself. Thanks for making me question my content, ugh!

Matt,
Athens
I probably have much more to say, but it will be in some other arena, I reckon…not sure what.
Nick,
don’t question yourself, keep going on! As much as I appreciate the interaction of the 4-5 loyal readers of Godthoughts, I just never was able to develop a big base of readership, which is part of the fun/allure of blogging–the interaction with many different voices, etc. And, as mentioned with Matt above, blogging doesn’t seem to be the avenue through which to share my thoughts with a larger audience. Perhaps I need to go to a podcast or even regular Youtube uploads….or not worry about whether a larger audience will ever hear what I have to share anyway…it feels pretentious for me to assume that my insights matter much. I can’t even get a publisher interested in a book I’ve written so why would I assume that people on the internet would? Enough pity party.
I appreciate ya’ll’s comments and interaction!

Yeti,
I don’t think a blog is in the future plans, no, unfortunately….but I won’t entirely rule it out….how’s that for ambiguous?!
Thank you for your support!

You are probably not even getting this any more but I thought I would leave a note as well. So sorry to see that this has dried up for you. Erika, too, is struggling to write right now. I was just re-reading her older blog posts when I came across a comment from you. And thus I am here, months after the blog came to a close. I see that Yeti was here as well (quite respectively closer to the true termination date than me - and another soul I miss all the time!) and bid farewell to your blog. Alas, another good thing has come to an end. Fare the well, God Thoughts….
